Celebrate 4th of July Weekend in Style With Patriots in the Park in Granite City!

What are your plans for the holiday weekend? Looking for something fun and memorable to do? Grab your family and some of your friends and come enjoy Granite City’s popular Patriots in the Park event!

This annual event kicks off Thursday, June 30 and doesn’t stop until Monday, July 4! Come and have a blast riding all of the awesome carnival rides. Share a funnel cake with your family and chow down on corn dogs and other great carnival food and drinks. Slow time down a little bit by enjoying a carriage ride. Whatever you choose to do, you’re bound to have a great time!

There will also be plenty of live entertainment to listen and dance to all night long! Come check out the Chris Talley Trio, a traditional bluegrass and gospel music group, on Thursday, June 30 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Take your young ones to enjoy Sunday evening gospel and kids theatre, presented by Unity Baptist Church, at 6 p.m. on Sunday, July 3. Finally, bring the festivities to a close by enjoying contemporary Christian music with “We Are Messengers” at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, July 4.

Don’t forget to see one of the best fireworks display in the St. Louis area on Monday, July 4! The fireworks kick off at 9:15 p.m. on the 4th at the Coolidge Middle School Grounds, and it’s bound to be a show-stopper. Trust us, you aren’t going to want to miss this!

The Patriots in the Park will be held from 6 to 10 p.m. on Thursday, June 30, from 1 to 5 p.m. and 6 to 11 p.m. on Friday, July 1, Saturday, July 2, and Sunday, July 3, and from 1 to 11 p.m. on Monday, July 4. No matter what your schedule is, there’s always room to pencil in some well-deserved fun at the Patriots in the Park festival!
